Manchester Consulting was founded to help organisations access experienced leadership and consulting support without automatically adding another permanent hire.

​

I bring more than 20 years of experience across leadership, strategy, governance, fundraising, recruitment and organisational development, including Chief Executive roles and senior responsibility across health, disability, youth and community organisations.

​

My background has given me direct experience of the pressures organisations face: stretched leadership teams, governance challenges, funding uncertainty, recruitment gaps, strategic change and the need to turn plans into action.

That experience now sits behind Manchester Consulting's External Executive Office model — flexible support ranging from a defined piece of work through to substantial projects and ongoing executive capacity.

Where the name comes from

I grew up in Oldham, near Manchester in the UK, and the name reflects where I came from as well as the straightforward, practical approach I bring to the work.
