With over 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and extensive work across the New Zealand Government sector, I have dedicated my career to making a positive impact on communities, youth, health, and disability services across both the UK and New Zealand.
My Story - About Lee and Manchester Consulting Limited
Originally from Oldham, near Manchester, I began my career as a Youth Worker and Team Leader with the Prince's Trust. Armed with a Geography degree and a passion for helping others, I quickly realized the importance of strong leadership and effective fundraising in driving change.
A pivotal moment in my journey came when the Graeme Dingle Foundation Wellington and Stroke Central New Zealand took a chance on me as a young, aspiring Chief Executive at the age of 30. This early experience as a CEO fueled my drive to make bold changes without fear, and over the years, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about what truly works in this sector.
As a father of three girls, my commitment to creating a better world for future generations is at the heart of everything I do. This passion has led me to establish Manchester Consulting Limited—a consultancy focused on supporting the not-for-profit sector where I believe I can make the most significant impact.
Throughout my career, I’ve observed the challenges many organizations face, from skill gaps at the board level to the need for strong, visionary leadership and effective fundraising strategies. These are areas where I’ve seen both success and struggle, and where Manchester Consulting Limited can provide the expertise and support needed to overcome these challenges.
